LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A wanted man from the north side of town was arrested on Tuesday afternoon in east La Follette.

It was just before 2:30pm when La Follette Police Officer Austin Tindell came in contact with Michael Strothers at an apartment at 305 East Hemlock Street. Tindell verified through dispatch that Strothers had a capias bench warrant and placed Strothers under arrest.

Strothers, 37, 111 North 11th Street, La Follette, was charged with resist-stop-arrest-search. No weapon was found.

A March 21 court date awaits Strothers who remains housed in the Campbell County Jail on a $9,000 bond. This was Strothers eighth arrest, according to jail records. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/10/2023-6AM)
