Two victims from Ivydale wreck being flown out

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A man and a woman in a single-vehicle wreck on Ivydale Road are being prepared to be flown to a Knoxville hospital by way of a medical helicopter at this hour.

The call came in to Central Dispatch around 12:20pm Friday.

The patients are described as an 80 year old woman and a 53 year old man. The man was reportedly behind the wheel when the accident occurred about two and a half miles up Ivydale Road. The driver had to be extricated from the Kia Rio.

Campbell County EMS transported the patients to the helipad at the La Follette Medical Center. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/10/2023-12:45PM)
