JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- The municipal election for the Town of Jacksboro is April 1, and there is only one day to vote.

Greg Cross and Mark Lay are each running for a full alderman term while Roy Green is running for a two-year unexpired term. Cross and Lay were appointed late last year to fill alderman vacancies left when Jerri Starrett and Brian Osborn resigned.

Because all of the candidates are running unopposed, the Town of Jacksboro did not holding early voting.

The only day to cast a ballot will be Sat., April 1 from 9 am to 7 pm at Jacksboro Middle School.

The one voting location is Jacksboro Middle School, 150 Eagle Circle, Jacksboro, between 9am and 7pm.
