DUFF, TN (WLAF) -Crews have located the teen reported missing earlier today.

The young man was located following a search of the area. He had attempted to drive his vehicle on an ATV trail when mechanical issues occurred, according to reports.

(EARLIER REPORT) La Follette and Jellico Rescue Squads are teaming this afternoon to search for a missing Stinking Creek teenager. The Lowe’s Branch area off Stinking Creek Road is one area of concentration.

One official tells WLAF that the youth has been spotted in that area not far from his home.

When a 17 year old young man did not come home from work Thursday night, his parents became concerned.

Officials tell WLAF that the youngster was last seen leaving McDonald’s at Jacksboro last night in his older model Chevy S-10 pick-up truck. Police are on the lookout for the primer gray truck that has a Tennessee license plate, 179-BFN.
