In loving memory, Joel Benjamin Grant, age 91, was born on March 26, 1931, in Knoxville TN. He graduated from Austin High School. He was employed at Baptist and Fort Sanders Regional Hospital, where he was an orderly. Joel departed this life on February 12, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father: James Edward Grant Sr., Mother: Jeanette Grant, Sisters: Susie Hodge, Gladys Greenelee, Gwedolyn Grant, and Barbara Grant, Brothers: James Grant Jr., Osceloa Grant, and Tommy Grant.

He leaves to cherish his memory Brothers: Richard (Barbara) Grant, Sisters: Gloria Douglas and Arthur Rose Turner, 7 nieces, and 4 nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
