NASHVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – State Senator Ken Yager (R-Kingston) will travel to Campbell County for several events on Friday afternoon. He will join State Representative Dennis Powers, Campbell County Mayor Jack Lynch, and officials from Roane State Community College to unveil a sign for the Campbell County Campus of Roane State along Interstate 75 near the Caryville exit.

The unveiling is the culmination of legislation passed by the two lawmakers to increase the campus’s visibility along the busy section of highway.

Later in the afternoon Senator Yager will visit with Campbell County Election Commissioner Mallory Rosenfeld. Senator Yager and Representative Powers will wrap up the evening by hearing from the Campbell County Commission’s Legislative Affairs Committee. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/09/2023-4PM)
