LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The fun of Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 The 70s trips back to February 4, 1974, Sunday night at 8pm, over WLAF radio. The fun three hours of memories are brought to you by Maynard’s Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.

Barbra Streisand was singing The Way We Were while The Rolling Stones had the biggest moving song, Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker), on this long ago survey. Boogie Down was Eddie Kendricks latest hit, and The Steve Miller Band’s first hit, The Joker, was playing on everyone’s radio. In addition to these songs, you’ll hear the nation’s other top 36 songs over WLAF just like they all played here on the old radio station in 1974.

AT40, The 70s airs Saturday nights at 7:00 and 8pm Sunday over WLAF’s FM 100.9 and AM 1450 and is brought to you by Maynard’s Wrecker Service & Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/04/2024-6AM)
