JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant at 303 Landmark Lane in Jacksboro on Wednesday morning (January 25) and netted two arrests.

When deputies entered the home, they found in the living room next to the couch a bag containing a green leafy substance that Amy Beason identified as Marijuana. In the back bedroom inside Matthew Stevens hat with his cellphone was a black container with a crystal like substance believed to be Methamphetamine. Also in the black container was 2 ¾ round pills believed to be Suboxone, four peach capsules believed to be Gabapentin, one brown capsule thought to be Gabapentin and one blue pill, possibly Clonazepam, according to a report from the sheriff’s department.

Inside Beason’s purse, detectives found a bag with nine peach pills and two brown capsules believed to be two types of Gabapentin. In the purse, in an inside pocket, detectives found a silver container with one orange pill that is thought to be Suboxone. Also found was a green bag that contained one blue pill bottled labeled with someone else’s name with nine half round unknown pills.

Beason and Stevens were read their Miranda rights and interviewed. Both individuals allegedly admitted to using Methamphetamine but denied the crystal like substance found in Stevens hat. Beason admitted to smoking Marijuana and did allegedly report that the Marijuana belonged to her. Both individuals denied any knowledge of any pills found in the bedroom including the black bottle in Stevens hat. Inside Stevens hat, detectives found a set of digital scales with residue.

Beason, 47, 303 Landmark Rd, Jacksboro was charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance, two counts possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of schedule IV controlled substance, two counts of possession of schedule V controlled substance, possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stevens, 39, 303 Landmark Rd, Jacksboro was charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance, two counts possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of schedule IV controlled substance, two counts of possession of schedule V controlled substance, possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Beason and Stevens were both released on bond on the same day of their arrest. Each awaits a court date.
