CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (WLAF) – There is an always something to do in Campbell County. You can view them all right here!
There are several events that happen around town each week, and I’m keeping you in the loop about what’s going on in our neck of the woods. Each week, I will share local happenings, and you’ll be up-to-speed. - Campbell County 8th Grade All Stars Game – Tuesday, March 19th Girls Game 5:30pm, 3-Point Contest 6:30pm, Boys Game 7:30pm at Jacksboro Middle School. Cost is $6 per person. 5 and under is free.
- Quilting Bee at Postmark LaFollette on Wednesday, March 20th at 10am. Bring your needles, thread, & quilting scraps to make laptop quilts & other fabric projects. Postmark LaFollette Arts, Culture & History Center – 119 South Tennessee Avenue, LaFollette
- Leprechauns & Fairies Springtime Tale of Mythical & Magical Creatures. Story Time – for ST. Patrick’s Day at the Jellico Public Library. Wednesday, March 20th from 4pm to 5pm.
- The Food Truck Rally Returns to LaFollette! March 20th – First Responders, April 3rd – Kid’s Nite, April 17th Treat a Teacher, May 1st – Back the Blue, 4pm to 7pm each day. 207 South Tennessee Avenue
- RAM Pop-Up Free Clinic for dental, vision, and medical in Jellico at the Jellico High School on Saturday, march 23rd and Sunday, March 24th. No ID Necessary. First come. First serve.
- Campbell County Cancer Association Offroad Ride will be Saturday, March 23rd. Registration starts at 8am. Ride Royal Blue General Store Rides starts departing at 9am with 15 minute intervals with the last ride leaving at 10am. $25 per person donation. All proceeds go to the Campbell County Cancer Association. There will be a silent auction after the ride.
- Spring Hike at Cove Lake in Caryville. It’s Free! It happens on Saturday, March 23rd at 10am.
- Jellico Church of God Mountain Assembly to host an Easter Play. “A View of the Cross” at the Tabernacle in Jellico – 224 North Florence Ave. Saturday, March 23rd and Sunday March 24th, 7pm each night.
- You are welcome to join Faithway Assembly of God for their Easter Service. Worship, Easter Message, & Egg hunt on Sunday, March 31st at 11am. The pastor is Steve Bruce.
- Rock Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Clairfield welcomes you to their Easter service. Sunday March, 31st. Service starts at 1pm. Egg hunt & dinner to follow.
- The 9th Annual Campbell County Children’s Center Abuse Awareness Luncheon will be on Thursday, April 11th at the Ball Farm Event Center.
- Earth Day Celebration at Clairfield Community Institute, Saturday, April 20th from 12 noon until 4pm. Interested crafts vendors can contact Jackie at 423-784-0095
- Campbell County High School Conquer the Bluff. A 4 mile race to Campbell County High School Scholarships. This will be on Saturday, May 4th at 8:30am behind Eagle Mart in Jacksboro
- Athletic Banquet for Elementary & Middle School Basketball, Volleyball, & Cheer. On Thursday, May 23rd at White Oak Elementary School at 6pm.
- White Oak Elementary Kindergarten Graduation at 9am. Grade 1-7 awards at 11am. 8th grade graduation at 1pm on Friday, May 24th, 2024
- Summer Camp at LaFollette Elementary School. It will run daily from 8am to 4pm for four weeks. Starting June 1st. Week 1 – Tuesday – Friday. Week 2 thru 4 – Monday – Thursday. Last say is June 24th. Enroll your child now.

Mathew- many thanks for a splendid idea. Looking forest to seeing much of our wonderful community at Z I’ve Lake State Park on Sat Sept 24 for the 15th Louie Bluie Festival. Bring a mandolin or fiddle and jam at the Jamming Tent!!

Outstanding work. Having ‘community bulletin board’ where we can all go to one space to see the events that are going on in our community is so needed. Thanks for taking on the task and making it a useful, successful tool in a media site that so many already rely on for their daily updates on what’s happening in our community.
