The home where investigators made a stop just before sun up Monday sits atop a hill at the corner of Loop Road and South 13th Street.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Investigators with La Follette Police executed a narcotics search warrant at sun up Monday at a home at the corner of Loop Road and South 13th Street. As a result, one person was taken away in handcuffs.

“Our Narcotics Unit investigators have been making controlled buys of methamphetamine for an extended time at this home,” said LPD Lieutenant Matthew Forsyth. The lieutenant explained that the target, Jacqueline Launa Petree, was at home when the Special Response Team and Narcotics Unit arrived this morning a little before 8:00 o’clock. “Ms. Petree is someone new to our investigators,” said Forsyth.

Investigators knocked on this side back door and executed a narcotics search warrant.

Petree, 52, 1536 Loop Road, La Follette, was arrested on charges of the manufacture, sale and delivery of schedule II-Meth, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. A January 24 court date awaits Petree who remains housed in the Campbell County Jail at this hour on a $3,000 bond. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/16/2023-8:30AM-UPDATED 01/16/2023-10AM)
