Anna Lou Massengill, age 84 of Rocky Top, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2023, at her home. She was born on March 5, 1938, in Jellico, TN, to the late Thorn and Bessie Singleton Housley. She worked for over 40 years at Oak Ridge Sporting Goods. Anna Lou was known to collect dolls and had over 800 in her home. She enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift stores and also liked to camp with her husband when they were younger.  She loved her family dearly and was a beloved member of Willowbrook Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Bob Massengill; son, Paul Ray Massengill; grandson, James Ray Hunley; and brother, Boby Joe Housley.

She is survived by: children, Deborah Napier and husband Mike, Melissa Hunley and husband James; brother, John Robert Housley; grandchildren, Chasity Wilkerson (Larry), DeAnna Lane (Ben), Brittany Carden(Jeremy), Kay Lee Hunley, Bobby Hunley, John Napier, and Andrew Napier(Brittany); great-grandchildren, Jordan, Brooklyn, JJ, and Lizzie; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.


The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm with Pastor Roger Leach and Rev.
