Anna Marie Carter, age 89 of Jacksboro, departed this life on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. She was born April 5, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Oscar and Loretta Merritt Kundinger. Anna was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She loved being on the lake, gardening and swimming. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her dog, Kikka and her cat, Mia.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jeff Carter; brothers, Harry and Kerwan Kundinger; sister, Gerry Tucker.

Anna is survived by her loving husband, John Carter of Jacksboro; son, Chris Carter of Byron, Michigan; daughter, Laurie Carter of Jacksboro; grandchildren, Shannya, Jenna, John, Christopher, and Danielle, great granddaughter, Evie; several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 7, 2023 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church from 12 PM to 12:30 PM with Memorial Mass to follow at 12:30 PM
