LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A community and country would not let retired U-S Air Force veteran Kevin Walden walk away without showing appreciation. Though long ago retired from the USAF, Walden has spent the last 17 years successfully serving as Director of the Campbell County Veteran Services Office. There was a celebration in his honor on Thursday morning at the Grand on Central.

Scott County’s Veteran’s Affairs Director Ron Keeton, center and Anderson County’s Veteran’s Affairs Director Leon JaQuet, right, stopped by Thursday to wish Walden a happy retirement. According to Walden, he and the other two directors have attended training sessions together over the last 17 years.
