Wlaf1450Robert Eugene Perkey age 74 of Jacksboro departed this life on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was born December 23, 1948 in LaFollette to the late Wilmer and Rose (Walden) Perkey. Robert loved classic cars and talking to people because he never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Perkey; brother, Thomas Joseph Perkey; sister, Lois Jeffers; great grandchild, Bailey Rice.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Dasho; sons, Robert Wayne Perkey, Kelly Ragland, Jody Perkey, Josh Ragland, and Ryan Ragland; sisters, Patsy Perkey, Linda Edmonds, Millie Catania, and Pamela Durham; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Robert’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned.

Bob was a good long time friend. Went to school together,lived near each other growing up & spent a lot of time together @ their home & @ owers.Always into something when we weren’t swimming &giving Tommy a hard time lol.got to see him after he moved back to Tn. a few times & he still called me Duck just like ole times. Will miss my long time buddy for shure.
Sorry for your loss. We were neighbors in Jacksboro years ago. We Taylors were a large Family of eight. Patsy visited with My Sisters . Prayers for Peace and Comfort be with The Perkey Family.
