Rachel Lou Green McMordie, age 83 of Morganton NC, formerly of Caryville TN passed away Saturday December 17, 2022. She was a member of Heartland Missionary Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by husband Jack McMordie, parents Ike and Rhoda Wilson Green, stepmother Dorothy Green, brothers Jerry Wayne, Raymond, and James Green.

Sister: Carolyn Riggs (Winter), Judy Summers

Family will receive friends from 1:30-3 PM Thursday December 22 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 3 PM in the Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Danny Carr officiating. Interment following funeral service in Campbell Memorial Garden.
