LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The weather was a bit cool Friday evening, but that didn’t seem to matter. The first La Follette Christmas in the Park was a community success as young and old came out to enjoy an evening in Seargeant’s Park. View the entire photo gallery from WLAF’s Charlie Hutson HERE.

The living Nativity scene was complete with a couple of sheep, a donkey and a cow. Kids and adults really enjoyed being able to pet the animals.

The entire walking trail around the park was lit, and along the trail were carolers performing.

WLAF’s Charlotte Underwood shares a photo just as Christmas in the Park began.
Carolers from Woodlake Baptist Church filled the air with song.
To help fight off the cold, there were several fire pits scattered around the trail.
Thank you to all who had a hand in making La Follette’s first Christmas in the Park a success.
