Bridgett Marie Waldroop, age 33, of Clairfield, Tennessee, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday afternoon, December 13, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on May 12, 1989, at Middlesboro ARH in Middlesboro, Kentucky, to the late Jake Waldroop and Edith (Hamblin) Waldroop, who survives.

She is the granddaughter of the late Bronce Waldroop and Pearlie (Davis) Waldroop and the late John Hamblin and Mable (Webb) Hamblin.

Bridgett had a passion for spending time with family and friends.  She was always willing to help others before herself.

She was a member of Valley Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her grandparents, she was preceded in death by her father, Jake Waldroop.

She is survived by three children, Toni Jacob Dewayne Waldroop, Landon EliCole Waldroop, and Bryson Lee Waldroop; mother, Edith Waldroop; brother,Rocky Eli Waldroop, and wife, Linda; two nephews, Aaron Baird, and wife, Brooke, and Dylan Waldroop; great-niece, Brailyn Waldroop; longtime boyfriend, Lonnie Garrett; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends and neighbors to mourn her passing.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday afternoon, December 17, 2022, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Valley Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

The funeral will immediately follow on Saturday afternoon, December 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Valley Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Truman Partin and Lee Mahan officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Hatfield Cemetery in Valley Creek, TN.

Pallbearers will be Densil Hamblin, Matthew Taylor, Lonnie Garrett, Johnathan King, Donnie Hatfield, Aaron Baird, Jake Waldroop, and Landon Waldroop.

Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico is in charge of all arrangements.
