LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) –An arrest has been made in a Wednesday afternoon disturbance and shooting. investigators with the Detective Division of the La Follette Police Department arrested 29-year old Tiphani Rashel Taylor on an aggravated assault charge.

Taylor is accused of shooting her live in boyfriend who is listed in stable condition at the University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville. The victim is suffering from a single gunshot wound.

An ambulance from Campbell County EMS was dispatched to a home in Linden Park just after 3pm on Wednesday on the call of a gunshot victim.  Officers with the La Follette Police Department responded to the residence on Linden Avenue on what was described to La Follette 9-1-1 as a domestic disturbance.

One official tells WLAF News that a man was shot in the buttocks and was transported to a Knoxville hospital.  A woman, at the scene, was detained, according to LPD.
