Wlaf1450JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – West scored the first two points of the game on Tuesday on Brown Court. Campbell scored the next 13 triggering a big night for the Lady Cougars enroute to a 60-16 victory.
Lacey Pemberton was tops on the night with 13 points while Carley Kitts followed closely with a dozen markers including two threes. Centers Emma Brandenburg and Lexi Morris tallied eight points a piece while point guard Saylor Hutchison rang up seven. Reagan Stanfill knocked down a big second half shot beyond the arc to finish wiht three points.
Campbell was ahead 13-3 after one quarter and 31-5 at the half. The third quarter was Campbell’s biggest with 20 to two for West to take a 51-12 lead into the fourth quarter. The final score came out to 60-16.
On Friday, the Cougars 4 & 3 (0 & 1) and Lady Cougars 3 & 3 (1 & 0) visit Karns in district games.
