KNOXVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – At approximately 9:15am Friday, officials with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) issued a request for all customers to reduce unnecessary electric consumption.

Examples are turning off any appliances that aren’t necessary today in order to keep the demand for electricity lower.
