Mary Rosalind Bower Arnold, age 82, passed away on November 12, 2022. She was a member of the LaFollette United Methodist Church. Rosalind loved being surrounded by her family and friends at holiday gatherings and other occasions.

She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on July 11, 1940, to the late Benjamin (B.A.) Bower and Lillian Denton Bower. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Jimmy Lynn Arnold, and her son, Jimmy B. Arnold.

Rosalind is survived by her daughter, Hanna Arnold Winchester, and her husband, David; and three sons, Chris Arnold, and wife, Mary Wynn, Joe Arnold, and Tracy Arnold, and wife, Meredith.

She is also survived by three granddaughters, Brittany Arnold Bean, and husband, Andy, Lily Winchester Rader, and husband Thomas, and Rose Winchester; and seven grandsons, Ben Arnold, and wife, Hannah, Bower Arnold, and wife, Paige, Blake Arnold, and wife, Kierstyn, Skyler Winchester, Sam Arnold, Andy Arnold, and John Allen Arnold; and two great grandchildren, Lakely Arnold and Fritz Rader.

Survivors also include her sister, Jennifer Moore, and special friend, Pernie Byrd.

The family would like to express their appreciation for all of the caretakers who have lovingly cared for Mrs. Arnold during the past several months.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the LaFollette United Methodist Church. The funeral will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Chris Stanfield officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:15 a.m. Saturday, November 19, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for 10 a.m. interment Saturday, with the Rev. Ronnie Poston officiating.
