Charles David Matlock, age 73, of Jacksboro passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022. He was a member of Covenant Life Church, retired from LaFollette Post Office after 25 years and a US Vietnam Veteran and a purple heart recipient. Preceded in death by parents: Frank and Cleo McCullah Matlock, sister: Janice Lewis, brother: Gary Matlock.

Wife: Mary Sue Henegar Matlock

Daughter: Kelli Matlock

Sons: Blake Matlock, Jason Matlock, Josh Sharp and Allen Sharp

Grandchildren: Jacob, Paije, Nathan, James, Meredith, Noah

Brothers: Randy Matlock and Wayne Matlock

Sisters: Janie Saunders and Sheila Matlock

Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends

Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2022, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow in Cross-Smith Chapel at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM on Tuesday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for 11 AM Interment with Military Honors given by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
