Donald David Kendrick, age 67 of Clintwood, Virgina (formerly of Caryville, TN), went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center.  He was born on February 28, 1955.  Donald enjoyed playing his bass guitar for the Lord, watching sports, and treating himself to a big bowl of ice cream after a long day’s work.  Donald worked as a truck driver for Roger’s Group in Campbell County, Tennessee for many years before retiring and moving back to his hometown of Clintwood.

Donald is preceded in death by father, Oliver Kendrick, Jr.; brother Ronald

Kendrick; and infant son.

Survivors Include:

His loving wife of 19 years: Julia Kendrick

His Mother: Norma (Elkins) Hendricks and husband Donald Hendricks

Daughters: Nora Tiller and husband Brian, and Kerri Tompkins

Grandchildren: Kyler Monday, Kaylee Tompkins, and Caden Tompkins

Brother: William “Bill” Kendrick

Numerous nieces and nephews, along with many other relatives, as well as a host of friends, all of whom will miss Donald greatly.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with a Celebration of Life Serivce to follow at 11:30 a.m.  Darrell Milgrim will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Kendrick Family Cemetery, Cook’s Fork Section, Clintwood, Virginia.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
