Stephen Michael (Mickey) Ford, 61, previously from LaFollette, TN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1 st at his home in Cleveland, TN, surrounded by his family and friends. Mr. Ford proudly served in the United States Army and was a well-known carpenter in the area for many years. He was a devoted son, father and Papaw. He had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and being in the outdoors fishing or hunting.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Sammy and Patricia (Hatmaker) Ford; grandparents, Leon and Frankie Hatmaker, and Sam and Kittie Ford.

 He is survived by sons, Russell L. Ford (Ashley Lawson), Cleveland, TN and Harlan M. Ford (Kendra Caldwell) of Crawfordsville, IN; four grandchildren; sisters, Kimberlee Thomas (Terry) of Cleveland, TN and Elizabeth Graham (Roger) of LaFollette, TN; brothers, Brian Ford (Don) of Knoxville, TN, William Ford (Mike) of Wilson, NC, Jimmy Ford of LaFollette, TN;special friend, Mickey Steed of Madisonville, TN; and many more much-loved relatives and friends, to numerous to list. 

Mr. Ford’s remains will be interred at Bakers Forge Memorial Cemetery in LaFollette, TN after a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.org in his memory.
