LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The next food truck rally series presented by The Chef’s Workshop is coming back to downtown LaFollette today from 4pm until 7pm. The rally series will go on for three consecutive Wednesdays through December 14th. The rally is held at the city parking lot, 114 E. Beech Street, where the flea market takes place. The Chef’s Workshop states that everyone is welcome and they welcome you to invite your friends and bring your kids. The weather for this evening is calling for clear skies and chilly breezes.

The food truck rally debuted earlier this year in September and it was a smash-hit. Many of the food trucks sold out early, and it was packed from start to finish.

If you’re feeling for a different kind of grub, this will be the place to be. Vendors such as B’s Bites, Smoked Pickle Barbecue, Waffley Good, Deep South Fish Snack, The Big Bad Taco Truck, Black Chan’s, as well as Kona Ice will be serving their special treats for you to enjoy.

There is one aspect of today’s event that makes this different than the last series of rallies. From upstate South Carolina, musical guest, Wilder Things Than Us, Known as a “progressive bluegrass” or “folk rock” band that has amassed a fairly large following on social media, will be performing. This will be the first time that there has been a musical guest at the this event in LaFollette. In the summer of 2017, the band released its debut album, In The Ground, with Other Southern, just before embarking on a year-long tour of the United States. The band started in 2012 under the name of My Girl My Whiskey & Me. Follow them HERE.
