LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Crews with La Follette Utilities Board (LUB) were busy on Sunday tending to spotty power outages around its service area.

Strong wind gusts as high as 40 miles per hour at times knocked power out in parts of Campbell and Claiborne Counties. Power was out four different times at Greasy Hollow, near Speedwell, according to one LUB official.

There were several off and on outages, mainly small ones. Some outages happened repeatedly in some of the same locations.

All customers were back online with electricity by Sunday evening. LUB serves 22,598 customers. Winds are expected to begin easing up by sun up Monday. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/28/2022-6AM-PHOTO COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
