TOP PHOTO: West Elm Street between South Avenue and South 21st Street was temporarily closed off before sun up on Monday as LPD investigators raided a home.

Investigators with the La Follette Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at his home soon after 6:30am Monday.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – First Responders with the La Follette Fire Department and Campbell County EMS staged on South Avenue across from Gamble Motors. La Follette Police stopped traffic at the traffic light at the bottom of the hill on Highway 25W. The LPD Narcotics Unit, SWAT Team and La Follette Animal Control swiftly and quietly headed up South Avenue with blue lights on turning left onto West Elm Street.

It was an active scene at this home on Monday morning at 1006 West Elm Street.

At a home on the side of the hill at 1006 West Elm Street is where a narcotics search warrant was executed. “Our investigators have been making meth buys here for a few weeks. Our main target this morning is Jama Parrott,” said La Follette Chief of Police Steve Wallen.

This home sits between Rose Hill Drive and West Chestnut Street on the south side of La Follette. There were two dogs on chains in the yard near the street.
