Fields of Faith returns for its 12th year on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. at Dossett Stadium! This years speaker for the event is Campbell County High School’s Assistant Football Coach Chris Honeycutt. According to event organizer Coach Brian Miracle, worship will be led by Bright Gray. The evening will also feature student testimonies and there will be a skit put on by the fellowship of Christian Athlete student leaders.

The annual event will be televised live by WLAF and also airing over WLAF radio. Click on the WLAF-Lindsay’s Carpet & Paint Center video player to watch.

According to Miracle, Fields of Faith in Campbell County is about coming together as one community, uniting to worship Jesus.

Miracle said there are three objectives for Wednesday night:

1. Bring many people together at one time.

2. Read Scripture and share personal testimonies.

3. Be challenged by fellow students and adults to read the Word of God and to follow Jesus Christ.

According to organizers, the event is all about empowering and equipping “not only the young people, but their parents, and their parents-parents. Students invite their own classmates and teammates to hear fellow students share their testimonies, be challenged to read the Word of God and follow Jesus Christ. An athletic field provides a neutral, interdenominational rally point where a community can come together.”

“We’re looking forward to an incredible night at the football field where our community can come and workshop together. It’s been a couple of years since we had great weather, and we’re looking forward to seeing the stands filled up!” Miracle said.
