DUFF, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Here is a release from the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.

On October 5th 2022, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 2450 Highway 25W. The Campbell County Narcotics Unit had performed several controlled buys at the residence. Upon arrival at the residence, Deputies with the Narcotics Unit observed a male and a female located  in the driveway.

Chelsey Irwin was standing in the doorway of the residence. Deputies identified themselves and Chelsey Irwin fled to the interior of the home. Deputies then proceeded to knock on the door, and announced that they were there executing a search warrant. Upon entering the residence, Detectives located Chelsey Irwin in a bedroom within the residence. Irwin was placed in custody and escorted outside.

Deputies searched the residence, and discovered approximately 9 (nine) grams of a crystal powder believed to be methamphetamine in the same bedroom where Chelsey Irwin was located. A further search of the bedroom led to the discovery of digital scales, sandwich bags and pipes used for smoking narcotics.

Deputies conducted a pat down of individuals in the driveway and discovered a cigarette packet in Bailey Kirsten Irwin’s pocket and a cellophane bag containing white crystal powder inside the pack.

Chelsey Irwin was charged with Manufacture/sell/ delivery of  a schedule II controlled substance and  Felony drug paraphernalia.

Bailey Irwin was charged with Possession of a schedule II controlled substance(methamphetamine). (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/07/2022-1PM)
