NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA (WLAF) – An eight-man crew from LUB spent a long weekend at the beach though it wasn’t the kind of long weekend we think of when the beach is involved. The crew worked all weekend long and is headed back today.

They drove out at 6am Friday on their way to restore power to one of the many communities in the southeast that was ravaged by Hurricane Ian.

About seven hours and nearly 500 miles later on Friday, this LUB crew started right to work to help folks in South Carolina.

Thank you for a job well done, men, and thank you for representing Campbell County so well. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/03/2022-10AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF LUB GENERAL MANAGER KENNY BAIRD)
