LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF – PAID AD) – Candidate for La Follette City Council, William “Chuck” Queener, welcomes you to his meet and greet Friday at 5:30pm at Common Ground Coffee Shop.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Free coffee and sweets will be served.

I am William “Chuck” Queener, and I am running for LaFollette City Council.

My parents, Bill and Ann Queener and I moved back to LaFollette in 1981, after my father retired from the Air Force with 26 years of service. This makes me a 40 year resident of LaFollette, and we still reside in the same neighborhood.

I married my high school sweetheart, Jennifer and we have one daughter, Kaylee. Jennifer is the daughter of Wayne and Joyce Longmire of Jacksboro.

I am a 12 year veteran of the Air Force and spent several months deployed overseas after 9/11 in support of “Operation Enduring Freedom.”

I am a Deacon at West LaFollette Baptist Church and have been an active member there for nearly 14 years.

I am a Facility Manager for Bechtel National, Inc. in Oak Ridge and have served in this field for the past 26 years. This position has afforded me valuable skills in departmental budgeting, contracting and procurement, and project oversight. I have also served on numerous boards and committees within Bechtel.

I feel that these skills and life experiences qualify me to be your next councilman on the LaFollette City Council.

I appreciate your support! (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/14/2022-2:30PM-THIS IS PAID FOR BY THE CANDIDATE)
