Rickey Allen (Joe Pig) Ayers age 62, departed this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his home.  He was born on October 1, 1959 to the Ernest and Maggie (Perry) Ayers.  Rickey was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, that enjoyed spending time with his family and was a simple man that enjoyed life.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Christopher Ayers and brother Jerry Ayers.

He is survived by his son Joseph Ayers of LaFollette; daughter Laura Hatfield of Tennessee; brother Codey Ayers and wife Marie of Jacksboro; sister Michelle Seymour and husband Ronald from LaFollette; grandchildren Raven Ayers, Jocelyn Ayers, and Hanna Beth Miller; great grandchildren Elleigh May Beyers; and a host of other friends and relatives.

A visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, October 3, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. Family and friends will meet on October 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Broyles Cemetery for an 11:00 AM internment and military honors given by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
