Blane Edward “Joe” Seeber, age 75 of Greenfield, formerly of the New River community, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at his home. He was born on February 16, 1947 to the late Blane and Ruth Seeber. Joe was a social person who liked to go to dances and be out with people. He was a kind and generous person which were traits he inherited from his father. Joe loved being out at the creek fishing and was just an outside person. He even had a TV outside and could often be seen watching Andy Griffith or Professional Wrestling. His favorite was Friday Night Smackdown. Joe also enjoyed listening to older country music. He loved his children and his grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all who knew him, especially his dog Copper.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: brothers, Earlin Seeber, Early Seeber, Bill Seeber, and Frank Seeber; son-in-law, Jeremy Raymer.

He is survived by: loving wife, Diane; children, Mary King, Joe Sexton, Josh Seeber, Johnny “Tex” Beecham, Brittany Hillard (Justin), Angel Raymer, Blane Seeber, Ryan Joshua Breuer, Kelly Maree (Robert) Jones, Allyson Ann (Mickey) Croy, Jamie Lynn (Jonathan) Crawford; grandchildren, Tyler Joseph Breuer, Deanna Nicole Tate, Logan Breuer, Benjamin Kroll, Chloe May Croy, Wyatt Lee Croy, Levi Raymer, Paetyn Raymer, Kaylie Throgmorton, Bryleigh Thorn, Preston Hilliard, and Raylee Hillard; brother, Verlin “Cotton” Seeber (Sissy); and other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Byrge Cemetery at 11am. The family is also planning a memorial service for a later date that will take place in his hometown of Greenfield, TN.
