Douglas Arnold Boshears, age 88 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday September 20th, 2022. He was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, Stooksbury Masonic Lodge # 602 F&AM a US Air Force Veteran, and former owner and operator of Boshears Paving. He loved his family with all his heart, and loved farming, and his cattle. He is preceded in death by parents Joe Riley and Lola Lay Boshears, brother Carl Boshears, sister Aileen Blakeley.

Wife of 65 Years: Anna Moffett Boshears

Daughters: Rita (Ron) Henson, Jill (Toby) Howell

Son: Doug Boshears

Grandchildren: Tyler (Shonna) Howell, Travis Howell, Hayley Howell, Skylar and Spencer Boshears.

Great-Grandchildren: Easton and Lennon Howell

Brothers: Melvin and Donnie Boshears

Sister: Shirley Ann Boshears Bright, Dorothy (Dot) Cooper

Along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5-8PM Thursday September 22 at Cedar Hill Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 8 PM with Rev. Lynn Ray, Rev. Billy Smith, and Rev. Lonnie Weldon officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 AM at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for 12 PM interment.
