Mr. Vantoy “Doc” Ellison age 86 of Caryville passed away Monday, September 12,2022.  He was of the Baptist Faith.  Mr. Ellison loved to hunt, ride horses, shoot guns, and was a very avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed trading with friends, loved to talk, his truck, and always being on the road.  Mr. Ellison loved his family, especially his great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by Son, Rick Ellison, Infant Daughter, Rebecca Ellison, Parents, Ancil and Dora Partin Ellison, Brothers, Doyle, Hoyle, and Hoyt Ellison, and Sister, Joyce Holman.

Survivors:  Wife of 64years, Betty Ellison; Daughter, Joyce Herrin; Grandchildren, Amanda Buchanan, Cody Ellison, Shane Ellison, Kaylee Herrin, Breana Herrin, Brandan Herrin, and Brandon Wilburn; Great-Grandchildren, Jackson, Rachel, William, Karter (Denisthe Menace), Asher (Rooster), Waylon, and Great-Granddaughter on the way, Emerlynn; Daughter-in-Law, Beverly Ellison; Former Son-in-Law, Jeff Herrin; Brother, Devoy Ellison; Special Friend, Roy Partin.  Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services Thursday, September 15, 2022, 8:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday before funeral services. Friends and family will meet Friday, September 16, 2022, 10:00 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Chadwell Cemetery for 11:00 A.M. Graveside Services and Interment.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Vantoy Ellison.
