Traffic on the La Follette bound side of the four lane was down to one lane for a while on Tuesday as crews sealed off the four lane entrance-exit to Towe String Road.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Just like so many other road projects experienced over the years, this latest where Towe String Road meets the four- lane, will also be an inconvenience to all concerned.

At just past 7pm Tuesday, the barriers were set closing off Towe String Road from Hwy 25W-State Route 9. Traffic on the four lane (Hwy 25W/SR 9) was opened back up to two lanes east bound after it had been down to one lane for a while.

  1. Also when coming out of Walgreen’s into Towe String road those bushes cause a blind spot. The cars that turn right into Towe String road fly around that curve. So a person trying to come out has to take a chance on getting hit cause they can’t see the on coming traffic.
