JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Mayor E.L. Morton declared Monday, August 29, 2022, as Alene Baird Day in Campbell County. After 32 years of service in the county clerk’s office, Baird is retiring as of today. She served the last eight years as the county clerk.

Baird’s service to Campbell County began in 1987.
Charles “Boomer” Winfrey congratulates Alene Baird on her retirement.
Baird received her proclamation on Monday.
Family, friends and staff members recently gathered to celebrate Baird.
