CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – On Aug. 11, Det. Sgt. Joe Hopson, along with other members of the sheriff’s office, executed a narcotics search warrant at 827 Patty Hill Rd, Caryville.

When deputies arrived, they found Floyd Hall, Karen Hall and Elizabeth McCartt in a back bedroom, and Captain Hatmaker allegedly saw the Halls throw a crystal-like substance in the floor. Deputies were able to recover the substance from under the bed. McCartt was found lying next to a trash can with a bag of crystal-like substance. McCartt allegedly admitted to using methamphetamine in the past, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.

Floyd Hall, 61, 237 Tennessee Street, Caryville is charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance. Karen Amos Hall, 44, Tennessee Avenue, Caryville is charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance. Elizabeth Lynn McCartt, 25, 827 Patty Hill Rd, Caryville is charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/19/2022-6AM)
