Landen Brooks is part of the crew with Branded Image Group out of Knoxville that is helping make the signage switch. He was working Tuesday afternoon at Big O’s. “We’ll probably need about half the day Wednesday to finish up here,” Brooks noted.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Rice Oil, the local distributor for Marathon, is switching to another brand and is now providing BP oil and gasoline, British Petroleum Company, to Campbell and surrounding counties.

This section of sign will fit under the high up BP sign at Big O’s.

Signage began going up on Tuesday morning at Big O’s Git-n-Go. The new BP signage will also be installed at other Rice Oil properties including West End and Cumberland Crossing.

This is what the rest of the pumps will look like.

“It’s going to take a few days to get everything switched over,” said Odus Mundy. “We’re excited about the change,” added Addie Mundy. The husband and wife own and operate Rice Oil.

The famous green of BP is now seen at Big O’s Git-n-Go.
