JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – It was a double ribbon cutting ceremony Friday at the Jacksboro and La Follette offices of Builtwell Bank formerly named First Volunteer as Builtwell Bank becomes the newest member of the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a great time to do a reset, bring some attention and let the community know why we’re here and what we want to do,” said Laura Byrge, Market Leader for Builtwell Bank.

“Six banks in the heart of Dalton, Georgia, have recently been acquired by Builtwell Bank, and that prompted the new name,” Byrge added.

The name change and colorful signage are the only differences, because the same smiling faces and family feeling are still here according to Byrge.

An outside firm assisted bank officials in selecting the new name. “Remember the slogan “The few. The proud. The Marines”? Byrge asked. The gentleman who created that slogan came up with Builtwell Bank,” said Bryge. She adds that the new name totally encompasses everything we do.

“Our bank has been here for 118 years. We know that if we help you build your family well, and we help you build your business well we know that you are going to be here for a lifetime,” said Byrge.

“We are so excited,” said Byrge. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/08/2022-6AM)
