FLEMING-NEON, KY (WLAF) – Less than a thousand people live in the tiny little town known as Fleming-Neon. However, the heavy rain and flash flooding that inundated southeastern Kentucky in late July packed a powerful punch. It’s part of one of the hardest hit areas in the region, Letcher County.
Donations from folks here in Campbell County arrived on Wednesday. Roger Jackson, who drove his loaded 18-wheeler to Fleming-Neon, shares some photos from his travels.
This supply drive was spearheaded by Rhonda Longmire, Market President, and her staff at Community Trust Bank. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/05/2022-6AM)
