CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – PAT’S SMOKEHAUS is WLAF’s business of the week.

PAT’S offers everything from traditional smoked items like brats and tenderloin to specialty items like smoked meat loaf and the “local favorite” smoked bologna. Specialty orders are also welcome, and a variety of sides and desserts are available!

What started as a hobby has turned into a new business adventure for Patrick Pebley, who began PAT’S SMOKEHAUS in April.

There was a nice turnout for Friday’s ribbon cutting of PAT’S SMOKEHAUS.

The business hosted a ribbon cutting Friday, July 29, at the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce office at noon to celebrate becoming a chamber member.

Smoked meats, sides and desserts are all available from PAT’S SMOKEHAUS.

Pebley said he started smoking meats as a hobby during the COVID shutdown, though cooking has always been a passion.

He learned a lot of his cooking skills from his grandmother when he was in his 20s.

“I’ve always loved to cook and had an amazing teacher in my grandmother Yvonne Pebley, but for me this was a new adventure,” Pebley said.

For years many people have encouraged Pebley to open a restaurant, which he considered but just never had the time. Operating a “made to order” smoked meat business fits his schedule.

“This business model of you order, I cook works well for me,” Pebley said.

PAT’S SMOKEHAUS is open to special orders and will be launching new tailgate packs soon. Check out Facebook for a full menu and details.

PAT’S SMOKEHAUS is officially a member of Campbell County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.
