TOP PHOTO: Letcher County, Kentucky, was the hardest hit area of the Kentucky flood disaster, and your last loads of donations went to Fleming-Neon. This truck load will go to Jenkins; both in Letcher County. Most all supplies are being delivered via four-wheelers.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Another 18-wheeler is stationed in the parking lot of Community Trust Bank – Weir Woods/Jacksboro. Your supply donations for Kentucky flood victims are ready to be loaded on Saturday.

Davis Chapel trucker Stanley Bostic has parked the big trailer in the CT Bank parking lot, and his wife Tammy and granddaughter Eva Pemberton are manning the post and welcome your donations.

Hopes are to have the truck full by sometime today.

The truck will be there until it’s full. Needed items are gallons of water, heavy duty contractor bags, straight-edge shovels, 5-gallon buckets and cleaning supplies.

Jenkins, Kentucky, is about a three hour drive from Weir Woods and is in southeastern Kentucky.

Stanley Bostic knows a lot of people in the City of Jenkins in Letcher County, Kentucky, and works regularly in that area, and he wanted to take a load to Jenkins, one of the hardest hit areas. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/12/2022-6AM)
