JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- I am seeking re-election for Chancery Court Judge in the 8th Judicial District which serves Campbell, Claiborne, Fentress, Scott, and Union Counties.

Elizabeth Asbury

I began practicing law in 1985 after graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Law.  I worked for the District Attorney’s Office for five (5) years and spent the remaining years in private practice representing people in our large rural area. I was initially elected to serve as Chancellor in 2014.  During that term, I worked diligently to apply the law to the facts in a fair and equitable manner.  Additionally, I sought to treat everyone who came before me with dignity and respect. I am humbled and honored by the opportunity to seek re-election without opposition.  I will continue to serve this Court with professionalism. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 07/29/2022- 6AM)
