Gerald Richard Dennis, age 89, departed this life on Friday July 15, 2022. He was a loving husband of 60 years, loving father, grandfather that enjoyed spending time in the mountains, walking or riding his 4-wheeler, watching old westerns, and competing at the Lansing Muzzle Loader Club shooting muzzle loaders.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Dennis; parents Clifford and Mary Leaseina Dennis; brothers, Michael Dennis and Tommy Dennis, sisters, Norine Honeycutt and Beverly Simmer.

Gerald is survived by sons, Rick Dennis and wife Sherri of Speedwell, Randy Dennis and wife Jennifer of LaFollette; brothers William Dennis and Don Dennis both of Michigan; sisters, Mary Jane Luckhurst, Rose Mary Bailey, Kathy Woolner, Janice Long, and Linda Bearup all of Michigan, 8 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held on Monday July 18, 2022 at 11 AM at the Peabody Cemetery.
