CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – A Caryville Police Officer was on patrol in the wee hours of Wednesday morning when he suspected a driver was driving under the influence.

At 3:17am, Caryville Officer Jordan Tolliver stopped the vehicle being driven by Kevin Lynn Wilson. On old highway 63 at Shoney’s is where the officer made contact with Wilson.

Wilson, who has 10 arrests to his credit according to records at the Campbell County Jail, was placed under arrest and transported to the county jail.

Several charges were levied against Wilson including DUI, evading arrest, domestic assault, open container law and driving on a suspended license. Wilson, 44, 535 Park Road, Caryville, remains housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning without bond. He’s due in court on August 8 and August 23. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/14/2022-6AM)

  1. Arrested? Didn’t you mean “catch and release”? How many times does a person need to be arrested before they’re not immediately put back on the street?
