JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF ) – The Campbell County Board of Education meets in its regular monthly meeting today at 6pm at the courthouse at Jacksboro. See the agenda HERE.

During the meeting, the BOE is expected to approve its support of educators in a resolution; resolution 2023-01. Last Friday, Campbell County Director of Schools Jennifer Fields informed WLAF that “Since our school system is filled with teachers who consistently step up for our students and do whatever it takes to meet their social, emotional, and academic needs, I wanted to share any information that is available to publicly support them.  I am also preparing a resolution to present at the July board meeting to let our teachers know that they have my support, the support of my staff, and the support of the school board.” See the full resolution below.

It is Director of Schools Jennifer Fields and Staff Appreciation Day in Campbell County. That resolution will be presented by the board of education in the 6pm meeting.
