LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – After a grueling and dangerous weekend for Campbell County Highway crews, visitors and residents, the recovery and repair continue today in a radius around the Victory Community where a strong storm, possibly severe, struck late Saturday night. Torrential rain and damaging wind ripped through the area leaving major damage to roads, culverts and more.

This is a small mud slide on Lynch Hollow Road, and there are several of these along this road.
Saturday’s storms reminded Campbell County Road Superintendent of June 2019’s devastating rain and floods.
