Charlene Dawn Turner, age 57 of LaFollette, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was born on August 17, 1964. She was a loving mother, nana, and daughter, that enjoyed spending time with her family, that was her life. She also loved flowers, spending time on the lake, dirt track racing, and was an avid Tennessee fan. 

She is preceded in death by her father Jack Petree.

She is survived by her mother Wendy (Whitlock) Petree; father of her children Randy Turner; son Anthony Petree and wife Stephanie of LaFollette; daughter Brittany Turner of LaFollette; brother Charles Cummins and wife Shelly of Texas; sisters Jacqueline Petree of LaFollette and Wendi Raines and husband Bo of Jacksboro; grandchildren Carmen and Jasper Teague and Gavin and Jace Petree; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, July 11, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Ronnie Freeman officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM on Tuesday, July 12 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for a 10:00 AM interment.
