Billy Joel and Big Shot was climbing the Top 40 chart as was Every time I Think of You from The Babys. The hottest song playing on every radio on this long ago date was I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor. You’ll also hear the latest from Donna Summer as Brooklyn Dreams joins her on Heaven Knows. In addition to these songs, you’ll hear the nation’s other top 36 songs over WLAF just like they all played here on the old radio station in 1979.
